Precious Carter had a busy weekend. He hung out with his Dad on Saturday while his mom was at a conference. That afternoon, he went with his Dad and his Aunt Ginger's family to Conroe for Steve's grandparents 67th wedding anniversary celebration. It went smoothly, except somone (won't name names!) forgot Carter's bottle, and had to make a stop to Kroger in Conroe to buy a bottle and some formula. Carter got fed on time and it all worked out.
On Sunday, we went the Houston Garden Center for a picnic and some outside time. Carter slept most of the time. We walked to the zoo from there, and strolled around for an hour or so. Again, Carter slept most of the time as he enjoys the bumpiness of the stroller ride. We bought a season pass since Steve got a discount and we live so close, so I expect many more zoo trips this year!
Tonight, Carter stayed in the nursery for both Bible Study and the Worship Service (about three hours) and was just a sweetie. He's happy to be held, doesn't matter who. I know I am biased, but he is just getting sweeter, and I am continuing to fall deeper in love with him :)
Well, tonight Carter had his bath and bottle on time, and has been put down to sleep, so we'll cross our fingers we'll have a good night!
